Iam a electronics and communication engineering student , am having a year gap after my 2nd year because of poor academic results in prior year.I want to use this gap period productively by learning new skill like embedded systems(preferably), EMBEDDED C, ARDUINO etc which are concerned to electronics and software field Below is my present skill set with level of experty in them.

C programming – Intermediate C++ programming – Intermediate Python – Intermediate Arduino – Intermediate VERILOG – beginner Assembly 8086 – beginner MATLAB – beginner

For now am thinking to dive in embedded systems ,suggest me best place to start (book,site,YouTube channel etc) Also suggest me other skill which could turn beneficial to me concerned to my field and my skill level.
