I copied a number of files from my S6 to a USB-connected PC. I then deleted the files from the S6 using my PC keyboard to select and delete the files. Now comes the screwy part. The files are still on the phone. The folders I deleted them from still exist and are accessible on the S6 BUT the folders show as empty when accessed from the PC. Other folders are still displaying on the PC normally. I went so far as to open developer options and check that the phone was indeed in media transfer, which it was. I even changed it to charging USB and back. No effect. Does anyone have a clue as to how my S6 learned to lie to my PC to make it happy? Got an idea for a cure? I read the discussion at: [ Galaxy S6 Folder is Empty on PC ] which is where I came up with the idea to toggle the USB connection
