Is there an reporting / tracking software that uses relational database such as MySQL in the backend? I am looking for a reporting / tracking software where employees can access to report their progress. Managers would be to access and produce a report. The database can later be linked to Tableau for more analysis.
For the user interface, it should work on a couple levels:
- Managers should be able to go in and update the classes / certifications
- Employees should be able to update their self-study training modules as ‘Ready for Verification’.
- Managers should review the training modules with the employee quarterly, see what the Employee has checked off, and verify that he actually knows his stuff.
- Managers should be able to add/modify requirements for each employee (i.e. employee X needs to complete these training modules by end of year).
- Managers should be able to Add/delete/archive employees.
Reports:
- Employee progress report – how is a guy doing on training and development?
- Group / department report – how are we doing as a whole? Where are we lacking? What do we need to focus on?
