I have been reading around and some people talk about spending money I don’t have going to get me in trouble. Isn’t that what credit is all about and isn’t that why someone would file? Or am I missing something? I did speak with an attorney who suggested a Chapter 7 with my initial consultation. Yes, I made a lot of bad decisions and it just all caught up with me. I get that. I’m still employed. I make about $ 32k a year and owe about $ 10k in credit and payday loans. Some of you may say don’t file for bankruptcy, and I don’t want to, but what other options do I have then? I rent and also have my own portion of household bills(none in my name)…etc. I’m single, living with a gf. Obviously no ones going to be happy about the entire thing but after working with my lawyer and everything, is there surprises I should expect or be worried about during the meeting or meetings to have my filing approved?
