Any help will be greatly appreciated on this.
A SharePoint site I own has 26 separate pages which users access via a Plan 2 License. Each page is locked to a specific license, License A can only access page A; License B can only access site B etc. There is a central list which each user with a license feeds into via an InfoPath form on the site. The first question on the form is a drop-down asking what page you are from. If a user chose A in the drop-down then only License A can access that specific entry as when it is saved, it gets moved into a custom view on page A.
The list is getting rather long and each page has only a custom view to search their specific entries. It will make life a lot easier if a search box and search results web part is implemented into each page so users can use a keyword search to look for entries.
The issue I’m having is restricting the search results so users can not search the whole list and only their entries. My question is if there is anyway to set a query on the search results to only retrieve entries based on the drop-down. So users using License A can only search for entries which have A assigned in the drop-down, users using License B can only search for entries which have B assigned in the drop-down.
Thank you! Matthew
