If blockchain B is merged-mined with blockchain A, A doesn’t need to know about B’s blocks or even B’s existence, but B needs to have A’s block header inside its blocks. If I’m creating other chain C for another crytpocurrency, and I want it to also be merged mined with A and B, I have to put inside its blocks the header for B blocks. A third one, D, would have to contain the data for C blocks, and so.
But would it be possible to make B, C and D only contain the data for the A block, disregard each other, and even so merge mine the 3 of them at the same time? Or in this case miners would have to split their hashpower, 33% for each one?
