I am currently using an LG-X230Z device.
I previously formatted my 15 GB SD card and I have been using it for additional internal storage. I recently attempted to migrate data from the internal storage of the device (8 GB) to the SD card to free up space, since the internal storage is almost fully used up (7.85 GB initially used).
When I initiated the transfer of data, the device began moving the data and showed a progress bar. The transfer stopped abruptly midway. This was followed by an error message: “couldn’t move data,” “data left at original location,” and now 7.98 GB of the 8 GB internal storage is used up as a result.
I’ve tried to clear as much data from applications as possible, and disabled ones I’m not using, and re-attempted to migrate data to the SD card. Currently the internal storage says that of the total 8 GB available as internal storage, 1.23 GB is used by apps, 1.20 MB is cached data, and only 23.70 MB is available (before clearing data, the apps were taking up more than a few GB’s). However, my device is only using 3.49 GB of the 15 GB available with the SD card. In addition to this, I’m having difficulties using the device now as an error message keeps popping up every damn second warning me of low storage space.
Please help?
