This is my first case and please note I am not a SW engineer, but the CEO of a small start-up marketplace in Sweden.
We are experiencing far to many server internal error 500’s. Not all of them cause our website to stop reading ads for clients, but many do. When the latter happens, (happened about 24 times for us in the last 2 months september to october), our marketplace goes down and won’t show any ads.
Sometimes the server goes down for only 3 minutes, sometimes 1½ hour. It however seems to repair itself most of the times, but sometimes we still need to delete the instances so that the system will reset itself!
I am glad we activated the automatic notifications for these issues, so that we can manually delete our instances (at least when we are not sleeping) after having received the “Stackdriver alert” by e-mail.
But is it this way it should be working with Google Cloud Platform service? It has come to a point where it seriously risk hurting our reputation, which is why I have to address this here and as our top issue. I sincerely hope somebody from Google tech. support can look into what is going on.
We have some feeling that this is happening when clients of windows 10 edge is trying to use our website, but we are definately not sure.
We are paying for the google cloud plattform some USD 180/month for a database and application. We would really like to stay and grow our business with Google. At the same time we cannot afford many more of these events in our efforts to grow.
How do I get in touch with a Google tech. specialist to share the link to our cloud console?
