Grant management is the process of reporting and financial performance of your program to your grant maker. Every funder has different requirements, but the majority of private and corporate grant makers want to see your progress to meet the goals you set in your proposal, and also how you allocate the grant award to the cost of your program.
Sounds easy enough, right?
In fact, the grant management is a challenge for many nonprofit organizations are small and medium enterprises. How many of us have been trying to track down the reporting requirements of the grant in Excel? This is not the use of the most productive of our time, especially when we have to juggle a lot of grant simultaneously.
Add to the mix of government grants, and it is becoming increasingly complicated. Has always been a challenge to keep track of our grant program components (outputs and outcomes that we realized through a nonprofit program) as well as the financial elements of the allocation of grants. But it does not have the right tools makes a challenging task even more difficult.
