Does Huawei Y5 have standard USB-OTG support? GSM Arena says it has, but it doesn’t detect my USB-OTG 64GB Sandisk. I know it can be solved via rooting, but I don’t want to brick my newly bought Y5. If anyone has succeeded connecting OTG without root, please tell me the trick.
I tried ES File Explorer, OTG Checker, developer options, etc. except rooting. Isn’t there any workaround without rooting? Spec sites say it has OTG support. Switching between USB debugging makes no difference. Captured are USB settings in the developer options. No matter which option is enabled, no otg is detected. If anyone knows any workaround, thanks for sharing in advance.
