I had an Samsung Grand 2(SM-G7102) with 4.3,it had an update to 4.4 but won’t update through phone itself. So,I decided to flash stock rom from Smsung (4.4) via odin. After flashing, the phone has stucked on boot screen with “RECOVERY BOOT” message at top left corner. Then I tried to go to recovery mode using power button+home button+volume up. It didn’t work. I tried another version of 4.4, still same situation. Went to local shop, they said they need to use a boxer. They tried but again no progress.(Now phone is in repair shop.) The phone has no hardware issues, it was running perfect before and I flashed with care without harming hardware.
Then I came to know that using adb we can go to recovery mode, but it needs usb debugging option enabled(I am not sure). Since it was recently flashed and hasn’t completely booted single time, can I get into recover mode using ADB?(I had USB debugging enabled in 4.3,don’t know whether it is enabled or not after being flashed.) Will my phone ever work again?
P.S. I had downloaded rom using IDM, does that affect rom?
