Necesito una función php que me diga la fecha en formato dd/mm/yyyy de cuando fue el ultimo jueves (puede ser cualquier día de la semana osea que debe ser un parámetro especificar que ultimo día va a devolver).
Por ejemplo si hoy estamos a sábado 11/11/2017 y yo necesito saber cuando fue el ultimo miércoles que ya pasó, me devuelva 08/11/2017. No se como hacer esto.
Otro ejemplo sería si hoy estuviéramos a 02/11/2017 y yo necesito saber cuando fue el ultimo domingo que ya pasó me devolvería 29/10/2017
