I have received a long stay (long séjour) visa of type D to work in France. The visa says it is valid from January 28 to April 28, even though this is a visa that is given for 1 year.
Can I enter France prior to January 28? I have heard that it may be possible to enter France earlier, since the validity is counted from the issue date. Can someone please confirm whether this is the case or not?
