I am working on a custyom field template. It is part of a BootStrap child theme.
I found already out some improving I needed (How to check if a field has more than one value), now I would like to offer the visitor to see the carousel in a full-sreen modal window.

I already used this on a static site and everything worked as planned. When I try and use it on a Drupal site, the function to detach my carousel to have it as modal content works fine, but it is not replaced in the page when I close the modal.

Does someone see a possible reason? I commented what I tried so far, so I can’t show the drupalized version but I can put it back if it helps.
