I have a server which gets real time data from several machines. The developer is worried about the Azure instance’s IOs so he does not want me to work with materialized views or tables to optimize my queries (I must export the data to Tableau). This also does not enables me to do full refresh in case something needs to change backwards, so it’s an issue.

Is it possible to copy selected tables from one database in an Azure instance to another database in another Windows Azure instance? Right now I’m working with a dumped database which i update by requesting the dev the dump of the previous day, wonder if this can be automated.
