Question
When printing from Excel Online, is it possible to change the default behavior for “Scaling” to always “Fit Sheet on One Page” instead of “No Scaling”?
Alternatively: Is it possible change what the default application a document opens in? (that is, can I change a specific document or all documents of a particular extension to open in the desktop version of Excel, instead of Excel Online)
Information
Our previous internal document storage downloaded a form to the user’s computer, and the user would print the form from their computer, with no scaling issues (everything fit on one page). In SharePoint Online, the form is opened in Excel Online, and when it is printed, it prints onto two pages, which is awkward and causing confusion, when the form previously all fit on one page.
I’ve tried googling this, and results I’ve found explain how to change the scaling on a document, but not if I can make an option the default. I’ve tried a few combinations of keywords, all to no avail.
