my cousin would like to send for her husband to visit her in the United Kingdom. However she’s on (FLR) based on the fact that she’s the main carer for her British child. She’s presently on maternity leave. And her only income is Maternity Allowance, child benefit and child tax credit. Her husband have been refused twice because they felt like he had too strong of a tie to U.K. After speaking to her solicitor she was advised to be the main sponsor to visit the U.K..and to use both myself and her mother as back up. Her advise is for us to produce cover letters and bank statements. Can anyone suggest whether this is a good idea. The solicitor will be writing the cover letters on our behalf. My only concern is that whether it is more likely for my cousin’s husband will be granted a visitor’s visa on these merits?
