I tried to put the topic all in one line, but it’s easier to describe it:
Looking at the code of different popular content managment systems (CMS) I was very unimpressed of nearly all aspects: the structure, the security concepts, the efficency, the expandability.
Are there scientific descriptions for CMS, that especially have a reliable rights definition section? CMS are probably the most common application in the WWW, so I would expect there exist clear and scientifically accepted concepts.
I’m far from being any expert in such things, but my best guess is that it could either be written in something like those XML-definitions or – my wish – in sort of the css-format. (The notation of the latter I understand much better.)
