I need to access older YouTube videos that I liked. Current limit is 5,000 videos in https://www.youtube.com/my_liked_videos. Alternative ideas how to access videos beyond 5,000 likes:
- Unlike first 5,000 videos to see older liked videos. Save “My liked videos” playlist first and use script that unlikes all videos at once in that playlist.
Is there a script that can re-like them later through my saved playlist?
If not, this is a bit excessive.
- Browse https://www.youtube.com/user/YOUR_USERNAME/videos?flow=grid . This may be incomplete (it definitely doesn’t show newer likes and it’s incomplete because it can’t contain a huge number of likes) and you can’t remove any videos from the list, you have to open them first. That means you can’t remove deleted videos.
I know YouTube stores your liked videos information past number 5,000 (and in which order you liked them) so why don’t they just create a feature where you can see all liked videos already?
If playlist’s 5,000 video limit is the problem, just create another playlist. Seeing that it took them over a decade to make comment history feature, I don’t see this being fixed soon.
