I have an unrooted Asus Zenpad 8 running Android 7, The device ships with 16 GB of internal storage (slightly less than 8GB available for actual storage, with the rest of the OS).
Because I was constantly running out of space for apps and updates, I added a 64 GB SD Card and formatted it as internal storage. Several of my larger games are there, but I am still running into storage space issues on the original internal storage.
If I go to Settings > Storage, I am told I have 19.78 GB of 74.67 GB used, but if I look at the individual storage devices, the internal shared storage is 8.09 GB of 8.83 GB and my SD card is reporting 4.52 GB of 58.67 GB.
Why is android not using my SD Card efficiently and why am I running out of space still?
